Welcome to the website of W.J. Kent Tree Consultants Ltd. An independent specialist that conducts tree surveys, tree inspections and produces in-depth arboricultural reports – including Arboricultural Impact Assessments – we provide expert advice regarding the management and maintenance of trees and woodland in both urban and rural environments. We cover the southeast of England, and areas in which we’re particularly popular include Bromley, Croydon, Epsom, Kingston and Sutton (though we do travel nationwide upon request, depending on the size and type of project at hand).

William studied at Merrist Wood College, a facility in Guildford. It is here that he earned his Level 2 RFS Certificate in Arboriculture. William gained his Arboricultural Association Technicians (Level 2) Certificate just 24 months later before moving into arboricultural consultancy on a full-time basis in 2007, where he obtained LANTRA Certification for Professional Tree Inspection during the same year.

The final qualification certified William as a qualified user of the Quantified Tree Risk Assessment (QTRA) System. This inspired him back into the field.

William returned to college in 2009 where he studied for the highly-regarded RFS Professional Diploma in Arboriculture (Level 6), going on to earn his qualification three years later. He finally received Membership of the Arboricultural Association (MArborA) in 2013.
